GenEquity Appoints Executive to Head New CA Location

GenEquity Mortgage, a leading mortgage provider, has appointed an experienced executive to lead the company’s expansion into the Southern California region.

Richard Thomas, Vice President and Regional Sales Manager, will develop and manage the growing retail mortgage lending platform for GenEquity Mortgage in the Western U.S. Thomas will be responsible for building the GenEquity mortgage operations and brand throughout California. The first GenEquity Mortgage location is located in Rancho Santa Margarita, California with plans to open additional branches in the coming years.

Due to overwhelming interest in immigration topics at prior symposia, Worldwide ERC is offering a series of eight 30-minute immigration sessions for the first time.  These presentations will explain the procedures, challenges and solutions regarding immigration in key countries such as the United Kingdom, South Africa and Brazil. The sessions are on Thursday, October 24 and Friday, October 25, 2013.

As an expert in the field of immigration, Martin was invited to join the Program Planning committee for the 2013 Global Workforce Symposium. The committee met in Washington D.C. to develop the program content, and then each committee member took ownership of one session for the Symposium. Martin and Lima were given the task of organizing the eight immigration sessions.

Martin will serve as moderator for five of the presentations with Daniela Lima moderating the other three.

Two Paragon staff members have been invited to participate in Worldwide ERC® committees.

Elaine Martin of Paragon GeoImmigration has been invited to join the Program Planning committee for the 2013 Global Workforce Symposium held in October. Kristin Eubanks of Paragon Global Resources has been appointed to the Worldwide ERC® Communications committee. Paragon Relocation Donates to the North Texas Food Bank

Paragon’s Coppell office recently made a contribution to the Food 4 Kids program to provide more than 200 backpacks of food to children in the North Texas area.

The Food 4 Kids program helps to eliminate hunger among children by providing backpacks full of nonperishable, kid-friendly, nutritious food to chronically hungry children on Friday afternoons to last throughout the weekend. Each backpack contains four meals. The program currently serves over 325 schools in 32 schools districts across Collin, Dallas, Denton, Ellis, Fannin, Hunt, Rockwall, and Kaufman counties. Currently, over 8,000 children receive a backpack each week.
